History
The organization was founded in 1991 as a civic initiative by committed people from Munich-Grosshadern. Mrs. Dr. Rauch who was in charge of the Miserior-Hospital in Mugana,Tanzania, for three years was the main initiator of the project. Her reports on the destitute of HIV/ AIDS orphans did receive a lot of attention in the German community back home.
Her distinct knowledge of the local circumstances and her personal relations to passionate people in the region, particularily to the sisters of the Maria Goreth Organization, laid the ground for successful collaboration and cooperation.
Since this time the organization has continually changed and successfully grown in size and capacity. Our project has so far had a rather local focus with its centre based in Munich, Großhadern. However, everyone with interest in our project is welcome to join or participate in their preferred ways.
