African Time and other differences
When you happen to be in Tanzania, sometimes you get the feeling that time seems to work a little more slowly here. For instance, at times church service can last 5 hours. A bishop stepping in his flowerbed in order to make a group picture with us, hardly can be said to be everyday life for us. Such differences have made exchanges exciting and diverse. Equal respect for each other has been the basis for our cooperation. Three delegations to Tanzania, in addition to the sisters visiting Munich in 2002, enabled our donors to gain a better understanding of our projects. Moreover, such exchange has lead to the creation of a feeling of mutual trust and understanding between us and the sisters for which we are very happy.
